This privacy policy explains how Igmu App (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects and processes data about catteries (businesses) and individual customers (buyers) in connection with the use of the Igmu software application (“Igmu”).

When you sign up to and use Igmu, we may collect and process the following categories of personal data about you:

3. THE SOURCES OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We collect and process personal data that you have provided, or that we have collected, in connection with your use of Igmu.

5. SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We may share your personal data with the following recipients:
- Service Providers, including cloud services and hosting and IT providers
- Our advisors, including auditors, accountants, and lawyers.
6. TRANSFERS TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EU/EEA
As a starting point, your personal data will only be processed and stored within the EU, unless otherwise stated or evident (for example if you are, or if you contact another user, located in countries outside the EU/EEA).
To the extent your personal data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, we will only transfer the personal data after having provided one of the following safeguards:
- Adequacy decision by the EU Commission.
- EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses
In some cases, we may rely on your consent for the transfer of your personal data to countries outside the EU, or if one of the limited and relevant exceptions third-country transfers in the GDPR apply. You can contact us for more information on the relevant safeguards or legal basis.
7. HOW LONG WILL WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will not store your personal data for longer than necessary.
If you register as a cattery/user, we will process and retain your personal data for as long as you have an Igmu profile. If you do not use your Igmu profile for more than 2 years, we will delete your profile and your personal data.
If your personal data is included in bookkeeping material, we will process and retain such personal data for a period of 5 years following the fiscal year to which the material pertain.
If you have provided your consent to direct marketing, we will process and retain your personal data until you have withdrawn your consent and for a period of 2 years after your withdrawal of consent for documentation purposes.
In other cases, the retention period for your personal data will depend on whether we have a legal or contractual obligation to store your personal data, or if the retention of your personal data is necessary for us, or third parties, to establish, exercise or defend a claim.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the following rights in connection with our processing of your personal data. Please note that some of the rights may be subject to exceptions and limitations.
- Request access to and to receive a copy of your personal data.
- Right to have your personal data rectified.
- Right to have your personal data deleted.
- Right to have the processing of your personal data limited.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to object to the processing of your personal data.
- Right to not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
- Right to withdraw your consent.
- Right to complain to the relevant supervisory authorities.

Complaints
If you would like to make a complaint regarding this Privacy Policy or our practices in relation to your personal data, please contact us as provided for in Section 1. We will reply to your complaint as soon as we can.
If you feel that your complaint has not been adequately resolved, please note that the GDPR gives you the right to contact your local data protection supervisory authority, as listed here.
9. OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA
You are not required to provide us with your personal data.
However, we need to process your personal data to provide you with access to Igmu and its functions. If you fail to provide your personal data when requested, we will not be able to provide you access to Igmu and its functions.
10. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making. However, we may carry out profiling to better understand your use of Igmu, to improve Igmu, our services and, your experience with Igmu.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We encourage you to visit the privacy policy regularly to keep yourselves updated on any changes. In case of significant changes, we may inform you of such changes via email or push/in-app messages.
